May 2025 Events:
Details of any additional trips will added when confirmed.
19th May (Tuesday)
Visit to Exbury Gardens
Depart Hursley: 9:30am
Depart Exbury: 4:30pm (approx. weather permitting)
Exbury’s gardens, designed and curated by the de Rothschild family, are renowned for spring colour, set apart from other gardens by the world-famous collection of rhododendrons and azaleas.
These stunning shrubs are at their height in May, lining the paths with elegant flowers.
We have included the train ride which is on an extended 1.5mile track through the gardens, meandering through the Summer Lane Garden (only accessible by train) before skirting past the Rock Garden,
travelling through the tunnel and then stopping off at Exbury North to refuel.
The return journey includes a loop around Dragonfly Pond, where passengers can watch out for wildlife,
before heading back to Exbury Central.
Book on Eventbrite, using the link you
should have recently received from John Ferris.
