Tour of the Hursley DP Centre with Colin Holyoake
Limited to 15 people.
Most of you already know what the inside of a data centre feels like, but this is a chance to view IBM Hursley's up-to-date facility,
which is one of the most energy-efficient DP Centres in the world.
It won't be as cold as you might remember, but will probably be just as noisy.
Colin Holyoake will speak as loudly as he can but
for those with a hearing impairment,
the noise of the machines could make it difficult to hear him.
Not much walking, but you will be standing for about an hour.
